Gas heaters include trademarks Alde, Truma, Primus.
The advantages of gas heaters are that natural gas is more economical than electricity and liquid fuel, and also more energy efficient. Indicators of autonomy is also at altitude. From the minuses it can be noted that the Russian gas butane, which is part of the propane-butane mixture (which is called natural gas in our homeland) does not evaporate at very negative temperatures and becomes liquid. As a consequence, the heater stops working when it is needed so much. It is also worth noting the explosiveness, the possibility of leaks, as well as harmful fumes of carbon monoxide (if the exhaust system of the heater is not all right). In Europe, there are not everywhere uniform standards for gas equipment and problems may arise with it.
Electric heaters are usually built into Alde and Primus gas heaters as a backup, and are also sold separately in large quantities. In addition, there is an option with electric mats built into the floor.
Here, heat is transferred by the high resistance wire laid in the mat. All these devices are easy to operate, not fire-hazardous, and their cost is relatively high. Only here the power consumption turns out to be very costly, and autonomy is out of the question here (the liquid-fuel generator does not count).
Fuel oil heaters are mainly represented by Webasto and Eberspächer.
The advantages of these heaters is the autonomy and availability of liquid fuels (gasoline or diesel, which, unlike gas, can be found in our hidden hidden nooks), which is taken directly from the car tank. The heating system is mounted under the camper floor, which saves the interior space of the cabin. Also in winter, the heater can work as a preheater, first warming up the engine, and then the residential unit and water. Of the minuses it can be noted that, until recently, all liquid heaters were noisy and had an unpleasant smell. Liquid fuel is more chemically inert than gas.

Such systems take in the cold air inside the motorhome, heat it, and then carry it back to the residential module directly or through the duct system. Air heating is the leader in installation on mobile homes, primarily because of its attractive price. The air in the cabin is heated much faster than with a liquid coolant. Also, in the first 10 years of operation, air heating does not require any special service.
From minuses in comparison with a liquid heater it is worth noting a greater gas consumption, uneven distribution of heat.
Heaters with a liquid coolant produce trademarks Alde, Primus, Webasto, Eberspächer.
Such heaters heat a liquid (water or antifreeze) circulating in a closed circuit inside the trailer of the dacha that transports heat to the heating elements (batteries), where it is given as thermal radiation to the living space of the mobile home.
The plus is the uniform distribution of heat throughout the cabin, less gas consumption, the ability to increase power simply by putting an extra battery in the circuit.
Of the minuses, it is worth noting the high cost of the device and its technical complexity, slower heating of the cabin, more complex maintenance (periodic leak test, air strangulation, replacement of the coolant every 2-3 years).
Also, such systems as Alde and Primus are equipped with built-in heat exchangers that allow you to warm tap water.
